Working in Partnership with Higher Education Institutes
This system has been designed to enable Course Tutors and Lecturers in local Higher Educational Institutes (HEIs) to link students with local small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) for educational and challenging project work.

This can happen in one of two ways:

bullet Students can register individually or as a 'group' and search for projects suitable for their needs. Student CV's will not, however, be 'released' and displayed within the system unless the relevant Lecturer has given their approval.

bullet Course leaders / tutors / lecturers can register 'project requests' on behalf of their students - again this can be on an individual or group basis.

All businesses listed will be registered and all projects will have been defined with the support of an impartial Business support adviser.

To register project interest or to approve student CV listings, please following the steps outlined below to create an account. Once registered, you can search and browse available projects submitted by SME's.

If you would like to discuss further how your HEI can get involved in the Business-KIT programme, please register your interest by registering online or by sending us an e-mail via our online form.
